Independence CIC (INCIC) is a TrustMark Scheme Provider. It is a not for profit Community Interest Company (CIC). Its aim is to provide positive and real benefits to registered contractors through:
- Recognised, Government endorsed standard for your Trades, licenced by BIS, supported by the Building Industry Construction Strategy Document until 2025 and Consumer protection groups.
- Promoting inspected and approved local tradesmen to their community on the TrustMark website, www.trustmark.org.uk, which provided more than 8 million contractor search results to homeowners in 2015!
- Partnership with local authorities, HIAs & various charities, to use TrustMark as a preferred standard for registered contractors with specialism in the Domestic Adaptations Repair, Maintenance and Improvement (ARMI) Sector.

- Convenient and easy on-line sign-up process.
- Access to procedures and policies tailored to the needs of small enterprises.
- Advice on Regulation and Legislation changes that affect SMEs in the Domestic Sector.

Once you have completed your application, been inspected and approved for up to FOUR trade listings you will become a member of the TrustMark scheme through Independence, giving you access to:
- Trade specific listings on www.trustmark.org.uk which received over 8 million contractor searches in 2015.
- TrustMark Government endorsed marketing materials such as vehicle stickers and trade specific dynamic logo and links for your website.
- CDM15 advice and CDM App you can use to produce RAMS and H&S File content.
- Independence ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Service. Legislation requires that you are able to offer your customers ADR facilities.
- Insurance Backed Warranties to offer your customer on your work, materials and products for 2 years, extendable up-to 5 years cover.
- Low cost training – e.g. Asbestos Awareness, Standards & Regulation briefings, Customer Care talks.
